“It’s pretty special to step into the family business. I enjoy getting to know people in the industry and opportunities where I get to chat with people face to face and learn.”

As the eldest son of GGIS Director Kate Greaves, and the great-grandson of founder Bill Orr, Mitch is proudly continuing the family tradition as the fourth generation to join the Goldsworthy business.

Fresh out of high school, Mitch is building his insurance knowledge from the ground up. His typical day includes preparing pre-renewals, sourcing remarket quotes and identifying opportunities to help clients save on their insurance.

For Mitch, one of the most enjoyable parts of the role is speaking with clients and getting to know people. He is enjoying learning the ropes, developing new skills and discovering there is considerably more to insurance than he first imagined!
