THE BUSINESS BIT

“I’m really lucky in that I get to enjoy a blended role of bringing a positive client experience in person when working Reception and then also bringing positive experience digitally as well, through our newsletters and social media ensuring the Goldsworthy brand is a honest reflection of who we really are.”

With a background in interior design, photography and office management, Carly brings a rare blend of creativity and adminsitration to her dual role. Her week often looks like a mixture of coffee making, appointment shuffling, photo editing, office snack ordering, creative writing and enjoying an abundance of both in person and phone conversations with clients and office guests.

Carly finds joy in a variety of things – like hearing a client reference newsletter, daily chats with the mailman, seeing a ‘real smile’ captured of a colleague in their corporate photoshoots, being part of new process development and improving procedures. She is passionate about customer service, connection and brand storytelling ensuring that every piece of content she creates and every greeting she offers is grounded in authenticity and care.

Working in the financial services space has had a lasting impact on Carly’s own perspective. It has given her the foundation and education to make big life choices, take risks with confidence and genuinely become engaged with her financial future.

LET’S GET PERSONAL

Travel Style Preference “The less people, less selfie sticks and less wifi the better. Give me a path less travelled, unrivaled beauty of the natural world and no real plan. I like a holiday that leaves options open.”

Guilty Pleasure “Completely obsessed with singing shows. Australian Idol. The Voice. I get absolutely sucked into an amazing voice covering a timeless classic in stripped back, bare your soul kind of way. Throw in a guitar or a piano and you’ve got me for life.”

Let’s Outsource That “Cleaning the shower floor can take a hike. Keeping up with kindy and school emails and notifications across far too many platforms is a hard pass too.”

I’ll Talk All Day About “Bargain Op Shop Finds. Living off The Grid. Permaculture. AFL.”

Historical Time Travel: I’d LOVE to go back to the beginning of the Industrial Revolution and let them know they’re about to really stuff up the planet. Oh, and also go to Woodstock, 1969.”
